Operated by CRA Group Limited, trading as CRA Group Limited www.cragroup.org.uk serves as a job board, dedicated to assisting Job Seekers in finding employment opportunities and aiding Recruiters in identifying suitable candidates for their job openings.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is deemed invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not impact the validity of the remaining provisions, which will continue to be in full force and effect.

Definitions

The following definitions apply:

  • “CRA Group Limited,” “Company,” “We,” “Us,” “Our” refer to CRA Group Limited, known as CRA Group Limited, registered in England under number 10011658.
  • “Recruiter” means any person, company, or organization that has set up an account with CRA Group Limited for the purposes of finding candidates for either their own jobs or as an agent acting on behalf of another organization looking for candidates to fill their jobs.
  • “Job Seeker” means an individual who has registered to use the CRA Group Limited Site for the purpose of finding a job.
  • “Commencement Date” means the date for the commencement of the Services as set out in the Order Confirmation.
  • “Order Confirmation” means, for online orders, an email confirmation sent by Us confirming the purchase of one or more of the Services; and in the case of orders made via the CRA Group Limited sales team, the approval of a formal quotation provided by Us which contains details of the Services ordered by the Recruiter and the price.
  • “Services” means all of the recruitment services provided by Us from time to time.
  • “Contract” means the contract between Us and the Recruiter for the provision of Services governed by these Terms.
  • “Terms” means these terms and conditions.
  • “Site” or “Website” means www.cragroup.org.uk and its content.
  • “User” means an individual working at the Recruiter who the primary account holder has provided with a login by which they can access Our Services and Site on behalf of said company or organization. Every User has the same abilities and access to the Services as the primary account holder and must abide by these Terms in their use of the Services and Site. The failure of any User to abide by these Terms may result in the suspension of termination of Service.

Use of the Site

  • You are permitted to use the Site for the purposes of recruiting staff for your own company or organization or as an agency helping another company or organization to recruit, or to access advice contained within the Site. You may only use, download or print information from the Site for these specific purposes. You should not keep any information that you download or print from the site for longer than necessary. Recruiters may not otherwise copy, display, transmit or distribute any material from the Site and if you do or if you perform any other unauthorized processing of information on the Site it shall be deemed a material breach of these Terms which shall entitle us to terminate the Services immediately.
  • At all times Recruiters must adhere to the requirements of the Employment Rights Act 1996, Equality Act 2010, Data Protection Act 2018 and any other applicable laws in your treatment of Job Seekers who may respond to a job advertisement you have posted and with regards to Job Seekers you may contact using information from our CV database. You must deal with Job Seekers in a fair and professional manner at all times in all dealings and correspondence.
  • You must not do anything which may bring CRA Group Limited or the Site into disrepute. You will indemnify Us from and against any claim brought by an individual against Us arising from your breach of this obligation or any other of these Recruiter Terms.
  • The Recruiter, if an employment agency or an employment business, will comply with the provisions of the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Businesses Regulations 2003 ("the Regulations") and the Employment Agencies Act 1973 in relation to all jobs posted on the Site, communications with job seekers and management of job seeker's details. The Client shall indemnify CRA Group Limited against any Loss.
  • We retain the authority to suspend the provision of any and all services to you if we reasonably believe that you have engaged in any unauthorized processing of information.
  • Regarding any personal data accessed, downloaded, or otherwise processed by a Recruiter through access to the Site or the Services, the Recruiter acknowledges and agrees that they shall be the exclusive Data Controller of such personal data, as defined by the UK GDPR. Consequently, the Recruiter shall bear sole responsibility for its processing.
  • All copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights in the Site and the materials available on the site are owned by CRA Group Limited or its third-party suppliers. Use of the Site does not confer upon you any proprietary rights in such materials.

User Provision of Services

These Terms and Conditions constitute your agreement with CRA Group Limited for the utilization of various services collectively referred to as the “Services.” They are applicable to all Services, except where expressly specified otherwise.

  1. Job Posting Service: Enables CRA Group Limited to place job advertisements on the CRA Group Limited website, allowing Job Seekers to view and apply either through the site or by being directed to a third-party website.
  2. Featured Job Posts: Offers greater visibility by featuring job advertisements in a carousel on the website's home page and displaying Featured Job branding in Job Seeker search returns.
  3. Optimized Job Posts: Includes benefits of Featured Job Posts and additional advertising including a LinkedIn post.
  4. CV Search: Provides access to a search engine for finding and viewing Job Seeker CVs, subject to the purchase of packages.
  5. Featured Recruiter: Displays the Recruiter's logo on the home page, linking to their Recruiter Directory entry, allowing profile creation for an agreed period.
  6. Candidate Alerts: Allows Recruiters to receive emails containing details of Job Seekers matching specified criteria.
  7. Job Boosts: Additional services by CRA Group Limited, extending the reach of Job Posts through various channels.

CRA Group Limited reserves the right to add, modify, or discontinue any Services at its discretion, without affecting prior Order Confirmations.

Recruiters must not resell any Services without CRA Group Limited's express written permission. Services are provided in accordance with these Terms, and recruiters need to set up an account to access them.

Job Posts

By submitting a vacancy to the Site, the Client is authorizing CRA Group Limited to post such a vacancy on the site.

At the discretion of CRA Group Limited, a Service may be offered where jobs are replicated from a Recruiters' website or some other nominated source. When this Service is offered, CRA Group Limited will make all reasonable attempts to accurately replicate the job description.

CRA Group Limited may, at its discretion, offer software integrations, including Logic Melon, enabling Recruiters to submit vacancies via this software. We retain the right to change or discontinue the provision of these software integrations at any time.

The Recruiter is responsible for the content of the vacancy, whether submitted directly, via third-party software, or if the posting is replicated from their website or another nominated source. The Recruiter will indemnify CRA Group Limited against any claim, loss, liability, expense, and/or damage ("Losses") in connection therewith.

Job Posts will be active for a maximum of 30 days. Recruiters can choose to set a close date earlier than 30 days at their discretion. A Job Post can be reposted after it has ended for a charge of 1 credit.

CRA Group Limited does not guarantee any response to your Job Post or that responses will be from individuals suitable for the job advertised.

Rules for Job Posts

The following rules apply to all Job Posts, including Featured Job Posts, Optimized Job Posts, and any other Job Posts CRA Group Limited might offer as a Service from time to time. These rules are designed to ensure that Recruiters receive the most applicable response to their jobs, and that Job Seekers are treated fairly and safely.

  1. The Recruiter must include the following information in the job post:
    • The Recruiter's identity, nature of business, role details, requirements, commencement date, likely duration, hours of work, location, remuneration, payment intervals, and available benefits.
  2. Applications will be sent to the Recruiter by email from CRA Group Limited or via an application made on their own website accessible from a link in the job post.
  3. The Recruiter is solely responsible for verifying the information provided by a Job Seeker in their application.
  4. The Recruiter must not duplicate jobs.
  5. Contact details should not be placed in any job description. Applications should only be encouraged via the "Apply Now" button on each Job Post.
  6. Job Titles and descriptions must not include keyword strings designed to manipulate page rankings.
  7. The Recruiter must only advertise legitimate jobs in good faith.
  8. Recruiters must remove Job Posts at the earliest opportunity after a job is filled or becomes unavailable.
  9. All jobs posted on the Site must have an active link to the Recruiter's website if that is the method of application.
  10. The Recruiter will comply with all applicable laws, including the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Equality Act 2010.
  11. Any vacancy submitted to the Site must comply with the Code of Practice on Employment provided by the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
  12. The Recruiter shall not submit material that breaches copyright law, is illegal, defamatory, libelous, offensive, fraudulent, violent, discriminatory, obscene, or sexually explicit.
  13. If the Recruiter is an employment agency or business, they must comply with the provisions of the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Businesses Regulations 2003.
  14. Job Posts should not be targeted at Job Seekers under the age of 18.
  15. Job Posts should not be submitted for vacancies where there is a risk to the health and safety of any applicant unless the Recruiter informs Job Seekers of such risks and the steps taken to prevent or control them.
  16. The Recruiter accepts sole responsibility for any detriment suffered or incurred in respect of the engagement of an applicant and shall hold CRA Group Limited harmless against any Losses.
  17. The Recruiter shall use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that it will not be detrimental to the interests of the applicant it intends to engage to work for the Recruiter in the vacancy posted.
  18. CRA Group Limited reserves the right to remove or amend any Job Post at any time at our sole discretion. If you have any questions about why your Job Post has been removed or amended, please contact t.pascall@cragroup.org.uk.

CV Searching

Where a Recruiter account has CV search activated, the Recruiter can set filters to preview anonymous Job Seeker details on an unlimited basis. Anonymous information is provided for the purpose of enabling the Recruiter to decide if they would like to use our packages to access the Job Seeker's contact details and CV. This information may include current and previous job title, skills, experience, current or desired salary, desired job type, and other information provided by the Job Seeker. The Recruiter will pay 10 downloads minimum to view the personal details and CV of any Job Seeker. At their discretion, the Recruiter can elect to download a CV subject to these Terms.

All Users of the Recruiter account can search, buy, download, and purchase packages. Recruiters must ensure that all Users are current employees of their own company or organization and must immediately delete Users when they leave their organization.

The volume of CV downloads purchased will be set out in the Order Confirmation. Where Unlimited CV downloads are specified, this will be subject to a fair usage cap agreed with the Recruiter.

Rules for CV Searching

  1. CV search access must only be used for recruitment purposes.
  2. CV Search must not be used to gather data or to elicit contact for the purposes of marketing or direct selling to Job Seekers.
  3. Recruiters must not use any automated computer program to search for and/or download Job Seeker information.
  4. Recruiters will not share access to the Service with any third party who is not employed at their organization or company. Sharing data with group organizations is prohibited.
  5. Recruiters will not share the personal information of Job Seekers with third parties unless they are acting as an agent assisting a third party in finding candidates for a specific job.
  6. The Recruiter is solely responsible for verifying the information provided by a Job Seeker in their profile and CV.
  7. Recruiters must not supply, sell, or license material from the Service to any other person or organization.
  8. Recruiters will only be required to use 10 downloads to access a Job Seeker profile and CV on the first occasion. If the same Job Seeker appears in a separate or repeated search, the information will be available without any charge until such time as the Job Seeker deletes their information or changes their settings. If a Job Seeker amends their information, these amendments will be applied to the accessible information.
  9. Where Job Seekers set their account to request that each Recruiter requests permission to view their CV and profile information, We will ask them for this permission when Recruiters request us to do so, but we can offer no guarantee that the permission will be granted or that the Job Seeker will respond to Our request.
  10. CRA Group Limited reserves the right to suspend or terminate the CV Search service at our sole discretion when we believe the Terms have not been adhered to. If you have any questions about why this Service has been removed or amended, please contact r.mitchell@cragroup.org.uk.

CV Alerts

Designed to notify Recruiters about the availability of Job Seekers fitting the criteria specified by CRA Group Limited, CV alerts are sent via email and can be easily configured, modified, or cancelled at any time.

  • Any User with a Recruiter account can set up a CV alert.

CRA Group Limited accepts no responsibility for the accuracy of information provided or the suitability of any Job Seeker in any job alert.

  • Recruiters are solely responsible for verifying the information provided by a Job Seeker in their profile and CV. This includes checking the Job Seeker's identity, qualifications, skills, experience, eligibility to work, training, membership of professional bodies, and all other information provided. CRA Group Limited accepts no responsibility for validating information provided by any Job Seeker and makes no warranties as to the accuracy of this information.

Directory Entries

Created to inform Job Seekers about the business and benefits of working at CRA Group Limited, Directory entries have specific guidelines.

  • Recruiters must not submit material for inclusion in any Directory Entry that breaches copyright law, is illegal, defamatory, libelous, offensive, fraudulent, violent, discriminatory, obscene, or sexually explicit, or which may adversely affect the reputation of CRA Group Limited or the Site.
  • Recruiters must ensure that any information provided in the Directory is true and accurate and must promptly update information when necessary.
  • Recruiters must not include jobs or links to other job websites in the Directory.
  • Direct contact with Job Seekers using their Directory entry is prohibited.
  • CRA Group Limited retains the right to remove Directory Entries at any time.

Pricing

Various Pricing Models are available for the Services provided by CRA Group Limited.

  1. Job Posting Pay-As-You-Go:
    • Applies to Job Postings, Featured Job Postings, Optimized Job Postings.
    • Recruiters will purchase the agreed number of job postings using the pricing and payment method outlined in the Order Confirmation.
    • All Job Posting packages must be used within 12 months of the date of purchase.
    • Pricing details available on the Website; CRA Group Limited retains the right to alter prices.
  2. CVs Pay-As-You-Go:
    • Recruiters will purchase the agreed number of CV downloads as set out in the Order Confirmation.
    • Packages must be used within 12 months of the date of purchase.
    • Pricing details available on the Website; CRA Group Limited retains the right to alter prices.
  3. Monthly Recruiter Plan:
    • The Client may post the agreed number of job postings each calendar month as specified in the Order Confirmation.
    • Job Post packages reset on the first day of each calendar month, and any remaining packages at the end of the month will be cancelled.
    • The client may undertake unlimited anonymous CV searches and will receive the agreed number of packages set out in the Order Confirmation to view and/or download the full profile, contact details, and CV of Job Seekers relevant to the jobs they are recruiting for.
    • Monthly Recruiter Plans have a minimum term of 12 months unless otherwise agreed by CRA Group Limited in the Order Confirmation. No refunds will be given in the case of early termination; outstanding invoices remain payable, and fees for any outstanding minimum term become payable immediately. The Services will automatically renew for a further term of 12 months on the same terms and fees applicable on the date immediately before the relevant anniversary date, unless either party gives the other written notice to terminate at least 28 days before such anniversary.
    • Upon termination at the end of a term, all unused packages will be cancelled.

Recruiter Account Setup and Validation

  • All new Recruiter accounts set up using our online registration process will be validated by CRA Group Limited within 48 hours of an application to open an account.
  • Accounts will only be validated if it can be shown that the Recruiter attempting to create an account intends to use CRA Group Limited for the purpose of finding candidates for jobs.
  • CRA Group Limited reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to refuse to offer the Services to any person, company, or organization.
  • All details provided by the Recruiter when applying for an account must be true and accurate. Recruiters must make suitable amendments to their account details to ensure they are up to date.
  • CRA Group Limited reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account where the account details are found not to be accurate.

Contract Formation

  • A legally binding contract between CRA Group Limited and the Recruiter, comprising these Terms and the Order Confirmation, will come into effect when (i) in the case of online orders, the screen confirming successful purchase of Services appears on the Site or (ii) in the case of orders via the CRA Group Limited sales team, CRA Group Limited has received written approval of a quotation detailing the Services to be provided and the cost.
  • The Recruiter acknowledges that such a contract is conditional upon the Recruiter passing CRA Group Limited's credit checking process.
  • CRA Group Limited shall perform the Services using information and criteria supplied by the Client. It is the Client's responsibility to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Other than for Services paid for online (where CRA Group Limited will provide payment confirmation after payment has been taken), CRA Group Limited shall issue an invoice and, in the case of Monthly Recruiter Plans, at agreed intervals in advance thereafter.
  • The Recruiter shall pay CRA Group Limited's invoices in full within 30 days of the date of the invoice. In the event of late payment, CRA Group Limited may suspend any or all the Services until payment is received.
  • If the Client fails to pay any invoice within 40 days of receipt of an invoice, CRA Group Limited may terminate the Services, and all outstanding invoices shall become payable immediately. In the case of Monthly Recruiter Plans, the fees for any outstanding minimum term shall also become payable immediately.
  • CRA Group Limited reserves the right to charge interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, as amended.
  • Online payment services will be undertaken by Stripe, and their Terms and Conditions can be found in our Privacy Policy.

Issues and Interruptions with the CRA Group Limited Website

  • CRA Group Limited makes all reasonable efforts to ensure the standard of the website is high and to maintain its continuity; however, the internet is not a completely stable medium, and errors, omissions, or interruptions of service may occur at any time.
  • CRA Group Limited does not accept any liability.

Issues and Interruptions with the CRA Group Limited Website

  • We make all reasonable efforts to ensure the standard of the CRA Group Limited website is high and to maintain its continuity; however, the internet is not a completely stable medium, and errors, omissions, or interruptions of service may occur at any time. We do not accept any liability arising from any such errors, omissions, and interruptions or any ongoing obligation or responsibility to operate this website (or any particular part of it) or to provide the Services offered on this Site. The specification of this Site may be changed from time to time without notice.
  • We offer no guarantees that the Site will generate applications, responses, or results, and no Service is guaranteed to result in a job placement.
  • CRA Group Limited shall not be in breach of these Terms if events beyond its reasonable control prevent us from performing the Services.
  • It is the Client's responsibility to protect their computers against any viruses and malware.

Entire Agreement

  • These Terms and, where appropriate, the Order Confirmation contain the entire agreement and understanding between us and the Recruiter. The Recruiter acknowledges that it has not relied on any representation made by us in entering this contract; however, nothing in this clause shall exclude any liability for fraudulent misrepresentation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all terms implied by law or statute are excluded.

License to use a Recruiter's Name, Trademarks, and Logos 

  • The Customer grants to us a fully paid-up, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license during the term of the Contract to use the Customer's name, trademarks, and logos (the “Customer IP”) for the purposes of providing the Services and in our marketing materials (including, but not limited to, websites and brochures), and that we may present examples of the services provided to and the materials published on behalf of the Customer 
Limits to Liability
  • Nothing in these Terms shall be construed to exclude CRA Group Limited’s liability for death or personal injury by negligence or any other liability that cannot by law be excluded.
  • In the event that a Recruiter makes a claim against CRA Group Limited for whatever reason, CRA Group Limited’s liability (if any) shall not exceed the price paid or to be paid by the Recruiter for the Services. Under no circumstances shall CRA Group Limited be liable for any consequential, indirect, or special losses, howsoever arising or for any loss of profits, revenue, interest, goodwill, business, and/or savings (whether direct or indirect).

Breach of Terms

  • Without prejudice to any other remedy, CRA Group Limited may terminate the Recruiter’s account and any or all contracts and Services with immediate effect in the event of material or persistent breach of these Terms by the Recruiter.

Applicable Laws

These Terms with Conditions are governed by, and shall be construed in accordance with, English law.

The courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and decide any suit, action, or proceedings, and to settle any disputes, which may arise out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions, and, for these purposes, each party irrevocably submits to the jurisdiction of the courts of England.

Welcome to www.cragroup.org.uk, operated by CRA GROUP LIMITED, hereafter referred to as "CRA Group LTD," "Company," "We," "Us," or "Our. CRA Group LTD, trading as CRA GROUP LIMITED, is a registered entity in England with registration number 10011658. 

Dedicated to providing valuable connections in the job market, www.cragroup.org.uk serves as a jobs board. Our primary focus is to assist Job Seekers in finding employment opportunities and aid Recruiters in identifying suitable candidates for their positions 

These Terms and Conditions exclusively govern the use of www.cragroup.org.uk ("Website," "Site"). In the event of a court deeming any provision in these terms and conditions invalid, such invalidity shall not impact the validity of the remaining provisions, which will continue in full force and effect.  

Your use of www.cragroup.org.uk constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions each time you access or use the Site.

Use of the Site  
Your use of the Site is permitted for the exclusive purposes of seeking employment or accessing career advice provided within. Downloading or printing information from the Site is allowed solely for these purposes; refrain from retaining downloaded or printed information longer than necessary.  

Responsibilities:  

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of information supplied to the Site. Regularly update your details, especially email, and contact information.  
  • Avoid providing misleading or inaccurate information, offensive content, or any data that breaches copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights. 

Security Measures:  

  • Ensure files or information provided are free of viruses or malware.  
  • We reserve the right to remove content from the Site without explanation 

User Responsibility:  

  • Users access the Site at their own risk.
  • Sole responsibility for any damage to computer systems or loss of data resulting from Site usage.  

Provision of Services to Job Seekers  
These terms and conditions apply to your agreement with CRA Group Ltd for the use of the following services, collectively known as the "Services." Terms and Conditions apply universally unless expressly stated otherwise.  

Job Application Service  
Facilitates Recruiters (or their agents) to post job advertisements on the CRA Group Ltd website. Job Seekers can view and apply directly through the Site or be redirected to a third-party website 

Job Alert Service  
Allows you to specify job criteria, receiving emails containing relevant job details at a frequency you determine. Manage alerts via your dashboard.  

CV Database Search Service  
Empowers recruiters to search, find, view, and download Job Seekers' profile information and CVs.  

Primary Objective: To foster connections between job seekers and recruiters, participation in the CV search service is enabled by default. Information sharing with Recruiters is subject to Job Seekers' settings, adjustable at any time. For details on personal information processing and setting management, consult our Privacy Policy.  
Consent: By enabling CV database search settings, you consent to sharing your CV and additional information with registered Recruiters on the Website.  

We retain provided CVs and additional information until you delete them or close your account. Refer to our Privacy Policy for data retention and account deletion details.  

User Responsibility:  

  • Regularly check settings for relevance to current circumstances.  
  • No charges apply for using the Service 

Issues and Interruptions with the CRA Group Ltd Website 

Website Performance  
While we strive to maintain a high standard and continuous availability of the CRA Group Ltd website, it's important to acknowledge that the internet is not entirely stable. Errors, omissions, or service interruptions may occur at any time. We exert reasonable efforts to minimize such occurrences but do not accept liability for any resulting errors, omissions, or interruptions. Additionally, we hold no ongoing obligation to operate the website or provide specific services, and the website's specifications may change without prior notice.  

Reporting Problems or Complaints  
If you encounter issues with the Site or wish to file a complaint about the Site, its services, or Recruiters not adhering to the Terms and Conditions, please contact us at t.pascall@cragroup.org.uk   

Content Rights  
All rights to material on the Site are protected by international copyright, software, and trademark laws. Users agree to use the Site in a manner that respects these rights. Copying material for commercial or business purposes is strictly prohibited. Users may only copy material on the Website for personal or domestic purposes.  

Grant of Rights:
A non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use your CV and additional information for service fulfilment. The right to grant a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide sublicense to Recruiters for their recruitment-related activities. 

Security and Passwords  
Upon registration and login, users are required to use a username and password. Users are solely responsible for maintaining the security and proper use of their passwords.
